brutal and honest, I don't think there is one person that can't relate if only a little to either the boss or the assistant or both.

Strangely comic movie that doesn't get enough attention. Spacey is brilliant as the bitingly sardonic studio exec who gets his brutal comeuppance, and Whaley puts in a fine turn as a man on the verge. The ending is predictable, but the interplay between the two leads is electric.

Great movie for such a small budget and just a few sets.

Kevin Spacey is literally the only thing worth it. To be fair, he's almost enough.

Loved it. Maybe because I'm an assistant myself, but just love it.

Probably the best (modern) take on the hollywood experience, unrelenting and spot on.

Yeah, I don't really get what's supposed to be so good about this.

meselesinin ne olduğu belli bir filmin her şeyi bu kadar sündürmesi ve kayda değer hiçbir şey yapmaması...

Dumb. The obvious contrast between the dweeby Guy and the abusive boss Buddy doesn't illicit any laughs from me, especially as it's going for relatively cheap shots most of the time. Kevin Spacey is at least enjoyable to watch, though his character here is like a less subtle version of his ruthless Frank Underwood role in House of Cards (which I'd rather watch). Also, the stupid ending I'm sure would be completely nullified once a slightly more comprehensive forensic investigation takes place.

I got this movie in the mail from blockbuster by accident but figured I would watch it before sending it back - it is really funny, I was completely taken by surprise. I had never even heard of this film, but Kevin Spacey gives a great, nuanced performance and the screenplay is very well written. Well worth a watch.

Kevin Spacey is a smug prick and we all come to realize that show business is a facade. It's fun enough to pass the time.

A fine Kevin Spacey performance, and good supporting work from Benicio del Toro, but that's about it. It's sort of like "The Player," but not nearly as good.

Worth watching if only for Spacey's performance.

Great vehicle for Spacey putting his quick acerbic wit to full use... Recommended.

While I do love a good revenge fantasy, this does not have the wit or imagination to even approach "good". Even "9 to 5"--which this kept reminding me of--is a better movie. Still, Spacey is fun to watch, Frank Whaley is good (at least until toward the end), and Michelle Forbes is quite the self-serving cunt.

A classic... The ending was never what I hoped, but always what I knew it had to be.

This is an excellent, interesting film. The two leads are bot great in this movie. Kevin Spacey does a fantastic job playing an arrogant, unpleasant boss. The screenplay is well written all the way through this piece. I would highly recommend this great film.

A great vehicle for Frank Whaley's talent. While I didn't find it as funny or clever as many others, I thought it was consistently amusing and entertaining enough to hold my attention, but honestly, just barely.
