Great early film from Andy Lau. This is a straight Triad crime drama, there is nothing glorified about the violence for lifestyle shown. Everyone does a pretty good job acting wise and the violence while not overly plentiful is brutal and realistic. The summary shown below is pretty inaccurate and makes it seem like an action movie which it is not.
