From the Vangellis-inspired synth soundtrack to the mysterious emotionless female who chain-smokes to random street signs in Japanese (because Asia = future) and right down to the helicopter search lights centipeding through a dimly lit art deco living room...this movie tries oh so hard to be Blade Runner, but ends up being closer to a Star Trek the Next Generation Holodeck Blade Runner simulation programmed by Wesley Crusher.

Nothing new here, with not very interesting characters and an unpersuasive romance as motor of narrative, and an extreme act of random and improbable and on-the-verge-of-rule-breaking luck to make it all more-or-less [spoiler alert] work out in the end. Also Ironside is wasted in his brief appearance, as usual. The soundtrack seems to want to be Blade Runner-ish, but occasionally is pretty good, so, you know, less Blade Runner-y. (Cos Vangelis is over-rated?)

The Sci-Fi theme is interesting, but the plot & dialog is a convoluted, confusing mess. It's entertaining & it has good build up of tension & anticipation. Music is good. Special effects are not great. Acting performances were mostly good. The time paradox was not played particularly well. Brianne Davis was sultry & alluring. Chad McKnight was mostly satisfying. Worth watching but it barely makes any sense & is mostly forgettable.

It starts okay, but after the BIg Reveal it collapses in on itself like a black hole, and I got lost.

Tried a little too hard at capturing the look and feel of Blade Runner, but still had a few things going for it.

A good watch if you're into Sci-fi or time travel flicks, but doesn't quite have enough of something, something to make it memorable in the long run.

Let down badly by the central "love story" that's supposed to drive the entire plot but is completely unbelievable. The two leads have zero chemistry, it's like watching siblings being forced to hug.

a movie about time travel and love, both of which end up bland and unengaging. aside from being pretty mediocre per se, there's another huge mistake heading this: gentry went for blade runner. or at least took a shot at its gloomy, backlit visuals (nowhere near cronenweth) and the futuristic industrial design (nowhere near snyder and paull) complimented by moody synthscapes (nowhere near vangelis). nothing against low budget, but why weigh your own chances down with cheap replication?

A mostly forgettable love sci-fi that tries to copy the feel of blade runner, However the story and characters never really engage. Acting is decent enough though.
