Take Me

The Q & A with the star/director helped, but I had a great time. Nicely balanced between absurd and disturbed. Pat Healy could punch my mom and I'd still have his back thanks to Cheap Thrills. This one doesn't reach those levels of shared audience visceral experience, but it dabbles in those waters. Next level terrible hair too. Not since Murray in Kingpin...

A small, nice comedy, led well by it's main actors. Doesn't take itself too seriously, so is enjoyable.

Charlie Sheen should quit acting

Ehh. I appreciate the attempt. There's definitely a good idea for a script here, but this just doesn't deliver in a satisfying way. While it's mostly watchable, it's also rather dull. The main problem is that the joke stretches on for far too long. It's told over and over again without offering anything new. That aside, Pat Healy gives a good performance.

Hilarious indie dark comedy.

This film has some interesting ideas and the script does take some chances. Some of the turns in the script do not work and feel unsatisfactory. Overall this film is a near miss.
