It's a classic boy-meets-girl story, boy-loses-girl, boy gets mistaken for an escaped convict and ruthlessly chased by armies of cops across the countryside in a thrill-packed stunt-addled climax. One of those. (TCM)

Just another disconnected gag comedy, but an energetic one at least.

Fair slapstick short: The Harold Lloyd character meets a girl but she has a tough time deciding between him and another guy. Somehow, he then gets confused as being an escaped convict. Frenetic pace without much of an underlying plot.

stupidly fast paced slapstick, so it's more entertaining to watch than harold's feature. even if it's stupider.

Short and goofy. It showcases Lloyd at the onset of developing his "glasses" character-based comedies. Not as clever as his later work, and not especially funny, but worth seeing if you're interested in Lloyd.

The 1910s is when Harold Lloyd learned his craft, but he wasn't the genius he'd become. That didn't happen until the 1920s. Before that he made one-reel'ers like this. Throw away nonsense with barely a plot. More about the obvious gags and milking it. Here Lloyd tries to take Snub's gal, but ends up running from the police being mistaken for a fugitive. Not that great, but a typical decent comedy short from the period.
