This is another film I can't believe I watched until the end...an end that left me feeling like someone had kicked me in the face with cleats...but an end nonetheless...I mean, the credits rolled after it and all...just saying.

It's an okay thriller, but the sexual drama is not handled well. In need of particular criticism is a scene that takes place late in the film. Two characters have sex. He presses her against the wall. He lifts her onto an end table. They break glass. He then carries her over to the bed. Throughout all of this, she is disrobed, her body fully on display. He doesn't even take his pants off. The score tries to boost the emotion in the scene, but it's not realistic and objectively unsexy.

Top badass moment? Illeana introducing herself to her new colleagues whilst laying in a grave; that’s got to affect the personal dynamics in any work-team. I do have a soft spot for the lovely Angelina; I always enjoy seeing her pout her way through any film, like it’s a commercial for Botox. And really, I was genuinely worried she was going to cut herself on all that broken glass whilst love-making with that unspeakable cad Ethan. 1 decapitation (and it’s a goody), no cats or chainsaws.

Tries to be a Seven knockoff in the beginning but quickly deteriorates into typical thriller-omg-I-got-you schlock. Kiefer Sutherland's role is so contrived that it makes the big reveal not make any sense. Angelina Jolie is so attractive in this it's almost worth watching. Could've been better but some poor writing choices drag it down to forgettable.

Schlocky serial killer thriller gussies itself up with a terrific cast and an unmistakeable slickness borrowed from SE7EN, and for a while it’s almost enough with Jolie nicely understated, and some good work from Dano and Rowlands in support. Unfortunately Sutherland is wasted, and Hawke ultimately feels badly miscast which throws the later stages of the film completely (and absurdly) off the rails – right through to the padded (and redundant) epilogue. Passable, but this cast deserves better.

I saw this in the dollar theaters, and there's not much to discuss about it other than the hilarious scene where you're led to believe a pregnant Angelina Jolie is stabbed in her stomach. The worst Seven ripoff yet.

Big Angie fan, but I gotta tell ya man, I was bored. Very. Seemed like a really generic tale that's not as twisted and terrifying as the summary would like you to think. Angie was pretty good, good sex scene, but was pretty disappointed with the flick as a whole.

I will grant that the movie made me jump pretty bad exactly once, and I will also say that it wasn't as entirely predictable that I thought it would be. But the 'stabbing' at the end seemed like a cheap shock ploy, and overall I just didn't enjoy myself.

I just despise it when Angelina Jolie plays a character that knows too much and reacts too calmly in human conditions. interesting idea, wearing people skins, why didn't they take it more forward than Ethan Hawk?

You look at Angelina Jolie in this movie and you realize why she achieved the fame she did. She pulls off her role with finesse. Ethan Hawke comes close behind. That said, in spite of being a suspense/thriller, you can mostly predict where the movie is headed if you have watched / read enough of those.

I actually really enjoyed this film. It is one of the few films I feel Ethan Hawke is captivating. Angelina Jolie is good not her best work but very solid. The plot was strong as well.

Average crappy find-the-serial-killer fare, poorly-constructed with increasingly ludicrous plot turns. Jolie glides through the thing like a pouting mannequin, Hawke obviously realises what junk he's in and doesn't bother trying too hard. The pair of em must've been paid handsomely for this.

Tough one. Angelina Jolie ain't great, but Ethan Hawke turns in a strong performance. Much of the storyline here is cribbed from superior titles, but it puts its own spin on the serial killer thing and keeps you thoroughly compelled to keep watching. The first two acts are well-paced and structured, but the third act I'm just not sold on. Overall, it's a "good enough" movie; if grisly murders are your cup o' movie, I'd catch it, otherwise it's far from a must.
