Danish film industry was always ahead of it's times during the silent years. But few know that they were also pioneers when it came to sound film! Axel Petersén & Arnold Poulsen, two civil engineers decided in 1918 to start experimenting with synchronizing sound with the moving picture and in 1923 they had finally succeeded! This is Denmark's first sound film. Little over 20 minutes of various acts. Singing, drunken humor, a little H.C. Andersen and a poem. Amusing and a interesting experiment.
