There's something to be said for movies that have no pretensions other than to take a completely ludicrous premise and make it as stupidly entertaining as possible. Does this movie succeed in doing that? Well... not really, but God bless 'em for trying. Alternate review: More movies should end with a disembodied brain jizzing sparks to a Denise Richards striptease.

A lot of the reviews on here either noting or praising the insanity of this film were in regards to the PG-13 cut of the film. I just saw the unrated "Gore" cut and it was a spectacle to behold. Opening with a testicular standoff, ending with a Denise Richards striptease and filled to the brim with gore in-between, this movie gave me more than I could have hoped for. Recommended for anyone who's ever chuckled at my movie tastes.

Everyone get all the pg movies you can find and scour the world for bizarre R rated original cuts. I want a Liar, Liar where Carey hangs dong. Matilda’s Ms Trunchbul popping a kids head like a grape. Doc Brown blasting back to the future running over someone and starting the civil rights movement. Ive said it before and I’ll say it again Denise Richards is a fox. In French, she would be called "la renarde" and she would be hunted with only her cunning to protect her. Good lord.

Amazingly weird so-bad-its-good-movie. Paul Walker and Denise Richards wish this movie stayed buried under the rubble of some forgotten Blockbuster video store instead of loose on the internet forever. The premise alone is ridiculously intriguing, but the additional "comedy" make this movie a must see. I've seen the original cut, and an Italian extended gore cut. With the full Italian dub during the extended scenes of gore, it made the madness of the movie even more fun.

Not as spectacularly horrendous as I was led to believe, but then again you can't get much more horrendous than a story about a sexually active high school girl (Denise Richards) who wants to become a paleontologist...and by "become a paleontologist" I mean "study her boyfriend (who happens to be all that's left of Paul Walker's consciousness after he's eaten by lions, transferred by a mad scientist with an impossible-to-place accent into the circuitry of a giant mechanical T-rex)'s bone. Rawr."

Like the Saturday morning pubescent turmoil of iCarly had its brain transferred into the malevolent, malicious hulk of a shell of Videodrome. I can't decide what I liked more: the sassy gay black best friend or Tammy using the opportunity of her boyfriend raped into a T-Rex to start using cutesy petsy voice inflections. I may hate my film tastes sometimes but I know a bad movie masterpiece when I see one.

This movie is just silly campy cheesiness
But there is a undeniable warmth and charm to it

Gory version. Terrible but I love it. Paul Walker doesn't even resemble his later career. The friend played by Theo Forsett was a very dated gay black stereotype. Ridiculous SFX including Denise Richards riding the t-rex. Fav scenes: payphone lady; Denise Richards at the end.

I can't not love a movie with such an amazing blend of intentional and unintentional humor. This feels less like a film than a protracted Conan O'Brien sketch, and I mean that in a very, very good way.

Who was this movie for? The tone wobbles drunkenly between teen drama, slasher-y revenge story, wacky morbid over-the-top comedy, weird-ass sincere-esque love story... It's clearly riding off the popularity of Jurassic Park (despite feeling like it was made ten years earlier), but isn't making any particular effort to hit the same demographic, or, uh, any demographic, that I can tell. And there are enough genuinely uncomfortable moments that anyone but a bad movie buff would be scared away.

It's silly and ridiculous, and I like those things, but it also felt like too much of a good thing.

Paul Walker goes on a dinosaur killing spree and Denise Richards loves him anyways. Ah, young love.

Never mind the low score, it must be seen entirely because it is utterly insane. I was in utter disbelief for the entirety of the run time, from when Paul Walker was eaten by lions to the creepy ending.

This film has a crazy premise. The script is original at times but has several weak moments. The cast try their best with the ludicrous material. Overall this film is perfect for bad movie lovers.

it can not be described how incredibly bad this movie is...and how it brought tears to my eyes because i was laughing so hard. if you're german, i can highly recommend the dubbing. makes it even more senseless and shitty. if this is how you become a famous hollywood actor (denise richards, paul walker) i'm in!

Paul Walker stars as an animatronic dinosaur on the lam from multiple homicide charges while his girlfriend roots through the morgue to find him a new body she thinks is attractive enough. That's what this movie is.

I have many questions but most can be boiled down to why? Just why? Who and why? When and why? Where and why? How and why? Why and why?

The Gore Cut - Still completely batshit. Everyone was obviously in on the joke from the get-go, which, for me, kind of hampers the fun a bit. Probably should only be watched with a crowd to fully enjoy.

Got to see the uncut gore version of this in a packed theater of mostly people who had never seen the originally released cut version. Some of the most fun I've had in a movie theater.

There's no question they know this movie's dumb and ridiculous, but it only allows for so much in the name of camp. This is just a dumb, dumb premise.

A really great one-time watch. I wouldn't want to watch this again, not even to introduce it to others.

Denise Richards falls in love with an animatronic tyrannosaurus and makes a brain in a jar have an orgasm. Another bizarre movie from the writer/director of Ice Pirates with ridiculous characters and an insane story. Perhaps my favourite part (after the striptease, obviously) is how they use tiny rubber legs to show the dinosaur walking up close. Oh god, and the CGI...

This doesn't make a lot of sense & isn't really all that good even by so-bad-it's-great standards, but...come on. How can anybody hate this? The premise is amazingly stupid, the style is so obnoxiously 90's, & the cast play their roles just straight enough to make it work. The T-Rex doesn't look all that bad to be honest, either. Richards is solid in the lead, & Terry Kiser is excellent. A lot of the humor works better than it should. It's no Troll 2 level masterpiece, but it's pretty darn fun.
