At first this seems to be a yet another tale of vengeance where the protagonist goes after the men who did him wrong. But, it takes another direction once it becomes obvious that Garko's character is very unstable. Even if the film then focuses more on Rassimov's character, it's still quite unique character and film in spaghetti western genre. Too bad that the film doesn't really know which story to follow and in the end it feels like something is missing story wise. Bit of a missed opportunity.
