Cute and well-designed expansion of the Saturday morning cartoon -- but suffers from a lot of padding. . . the TV show is better.

‘Hysterical’ might be an overstatement, but this is quite a bit of fun if you’re in the mood, and can reasonably set your expectations to kiddie frivolity. Powered by a terrific voice cast: Lane is a perfect choice as the overexcitable lead, and Grammer a fine match leaning into a Central European flavour of Sideshow Bob mode. Can’t really say the Disney sheen is noticeable on this one, especially the ragged and at times unappealing animation, looking more like RUGRATS than Mickey Mouse!

Great songs and very witty, but the heavily stylized animation may turn some people off.

Great artwork and fairly amusing, but not as funny or entertaining as I expected.
