Not as good as the first; much less serious (the first one actually pulled off serious well, believe it or not), but more fun as a whole. Pretty silly at times, though. But hey...GO NINJA GO NINJA GO. GO NINJA GO NINJA GO.

I would've given it 100 if it wasn't for the scene where the turtles are trapped in a net and act like they can't do jack shit about it and Splinter has to save them with a bow. LEONARDO YOU HAVE TWO MOTHERFUCKING KATANA SWORDS YOU DICKHEAD MAYBE YOU SHOULD USE THEM FOR SOMETHING OTHER THAN SLICING PIZZA. That scene made me very angry, but otherwise this is the best movie in my entire life.

This was a a childhood favourite of mine, but having rewatched this recently I am sad to report that it is rather horrendous. And so you lock yourself in a room and cry a lot, until you one day have the sexual misfortune of getting some girl pregnant, and eventually you end up showing this to your kid, and so the vicious circle continues.

This is a movie that I grew up with. The plot may be weak, and it may exploit the hell out of the pop culture of the time, and even still it might have some of the weakest set/costume design I've ever seen in a movie, but damnit I still like it.

After the darkness of the first flick, this one is bright, action-packed, and hilarious. A great comedy-action flick kids will love and open-minded adults will love, too. Just a treat.

Ninja Rap takes away from the movie's overall quality, no doubt, but it's not like the movie wasn't pretty far out there already. I actually think it's considerably sharper than its predecessor, with better action to boot. On the flip side, it's less edgy and atmospheric, which is what made TMNT1 so surprisingly worthwhile. This is the best exchange in film history, though: "It's quiet." "Yeah... too quiet." "That was easy." "Yeah... too easy." "Hey, guys--it's Raph!" "Yeah... too Raph."

This second outing for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is sillier and a little more kid friendly than the first. At the same time, it is significantly dumber, and the special effects and puppetry is not as high quality. When it's all boiled down, Secret of the Ooze is a fun family/action romp great for seven to twelve year olds or eighteen to twenty-five year olds who grew up on the cartoon series. Really good!

Growing up, this was easily my go-to TMNT movie. Full of all of the quintessential Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fun. Try watching the delicious opening ode to New York pizza montage and not order a large extra cheese to enjoy with the film. The following opening credit fight scene alone is jam packed with memorable bits like all the toy shop weapons or "combat cold-cuts", and that's not even getting into the glorious birth of the "Ninja Rap" Go ninja! Go ninja! Go!

This is a nice hit to the nostalgia part of my brain. This film is louder and goofier than the first. The end features the Turtles doing a dance routine to Vanilla Ice, and also playing a keytar so loud that the sound from the speaker sends Shredder flying. This may be the best looking pizza in film history.

Once again the film references are a lot of fun and the puppetry from Henson's Creature Shop is superb, but I miss Judith Hoag as April (Paige Turco pales in comparison). Oh, and Ice Vanilla banging out 'Ninja Rap' as the foursome literally gas a mutant wolf and snapping turtle is quite a spectacle.

An underrated gem. Sure, it's more kid friendly, but it's also genuinely funny throughout. The turtles have also never looked better, with charismatic body and voice actors working in conjunction with the best animatronics of the series. Ninja Rap is just icing on the cake...

The sequel turns the knobs up to 11 on almost everything in this movie. I've always liked this movie better than the original. The story is so much cooler. The introduction of two big monster baddies along with a oozed up Shredder makes the action in this movie over-the-top in all the best ways. With the addition of Ernie Reyes, this movie had tons of action, fighting, and a cool story about how the ooze brought the turtles to life and has the power to bring other things to life. It's just fun.

Take everything the first one did, and drop it down a few notches. It minuses on fun, with a less interesting story, strange dialogue (even for the TMNT), and Vanilla Ice. It is also a shame to see Shredder used again rather than the other classic TMNT villains.

Less of a movie and more of a collection of cool stuff happening, with a mess of a structure, subplots that don't go anywhere, and several characters completely disappearing from the climax. But you know what, it's a *fun* mess! I loved this when I was eight and I enjoyed it today, even with the ridiculous specter of Vanilla Ice hanging over it.

This is a lot more childish in a Saturday morning cartoon kind of way. Ernie Reyes Jr. is a nice bonus but didn't fill the void of not having Kasey Jones. It's an ok movie but not even close to being as good as the first.

It's poppish and silly but it's still fun if you're a fan of ninja turtles. Hasn't really stood the test of time as it's really dated as 80's/early 90's flick but if you grew up in that era and enjoy TMNT then it's enjoyable. If not, then pass on this one.

Many people claim this is the best TMNT movie and they are wrong. It's overly corny and safe and boring and has Vanilla fucking Ice in it. The first one was wonderful and this + the 3rd are shamefully bad. NO one that isn't a turtle fan should see it and even then I wouldn't necessarily recommend it.

And i thought the first one was bad! Story-wise, I enjoyed that creators of this film managed to avoid continuity errors. But that's the only good thing I could find in script. Visually it might be more modern than first movie, but I didn't like the animatronics in this one. All the grittiness is gone. There are a few good jokes, but I enjoyed watching Vanilla Ice dancing more than any turtles fight.

This movie starts the decent into shittyness of the TMNT franchise. It's far from the quality of the first movie, but it is The Maltese Falcon compared with TMNT 3. The only question I have is WHY OH WHY did the create Rahzar and Tokka, when they had the chance to use one of the most awesome duos in all cartoondom, Bebop and Rocksteady? It puzzles me!

Pretty decent sequel. Lacks the wee bit of grimness that made the original better and more badass. The original was geared to everyone, while this one's strictly for the kids.
