Terminal Velocity

Note to self: Stop watching Charlie Sheen movies.

It has a plot that you'll laugh at, one actor that knows the film's a joke while the others think it's serious, and a bunch of spectacular action scenes. Even if you laugh at the plot, you'll at least be wowed by the set-pieces. Skydiving, conveniently, makes for a perfect area to stage action scenes, especially ones involving heavy objects falling fast toward the ground below. This isn't a good movie, but it's a fun one, and is worth recommending just for that.

Yeah, it's terrible, but it's a lot of fun in that super camp 90s way. The humor is hilariously unfunny, the action scenes are outrageous and over the top. Everything is stupid as hell. I had a good time.

Dumb 90s action movie, but it's not bad and Sheen's libido makes some of the ridiculousness believable. Why would he do X? Cause he wants sex. Ah ok, I'll buy it.

Viewed November 7, 2021. Totally moronic and I mostly mean that in a good way; composed entirely out of dumb set-pieces and even dumber one-liners ("I'm not a walking penis, I'm a flying penis," Sheen quips at one point), there's enough weird and funny stuff here to make you appreciate that there was once a time where Charlie Sheen and Nastassja Kinski could headline a mediocre action movie together.

It's not the fall that kills you... it's Charlie Sheen's acting.

Ready for revival, this was a lot better than I expected. The action rarely comes to full stop, Sheen is pretty likable even if his quips are dusty, there's some impressive sequences (the guy on the wing of a plane is fun to watch if only because it is a guy on the wing of a plane that is in the air). This has the potential to win over an audience the way Point Break does...with the sound down.

Lazily written James Bond type spy adventure. Also the 90st action movie ever.
