Terror at Tenkiller

There was certainly something at Tenkiller. Every time I watch a bad slasher film I'm shocked that it's a bad slasher film, it is the easiest subgenre to whip something together that is fun and watchable: Bubz and mayhem. A pock marked man walks around and cuts open necks and you sit there watching the time remaining bar tick away and HEY WAS THAT BUB

This has a horrible rep, but with low expectations, I was actually pleasantly surprised. It's not a GOOD film, and there are some odd choices like revealing the killer early on, totally unnecessary narration which seems to have been added to fix story issues and a bland lead character. But it does have a nice summer holiday feel and it takes good use of the lake setting, and there are at least a couple of effective scenes. Acquired taste, for sure but there are worse slashers out there.

Dopey, kinda boring at times, and there's no mystery involved, but it still has a certain mood that I like.
