red skelton in a mistaken identity movie, it's late enough in his career that i was surprised to see no repeats of jokes i've seen in other places from him. the originality, however, is overshadowed by the fact that these new gags aren't very good. interestingly enough, williams seems a bit out of her element here because the majority of her time in water is related to a dunk tank.

The origins of Stonehenge. Bigfoot. The Loch Ness Monster. Esther Williams and Red Skelton's appeal. All mysteries for the ages. This one is big and colorful and resolutely dumb. Ann Miller does get one nice dance number though.
