Psychotic McConaughey (with a cyborg leg) terrorizes a young Renée Zellweger after her prom - pretty much the only reason to watch this.

The idea of escalating involvement in the Sawyer family's sick games from entities more powerful than them taking pleasure in it is a very good one that unfortunately isn't done justice. It's far too smug and non-commital to really work even though it really feels like it's trying to be the proper sequel to 2, which I love.

Definitely the Low point for the series but worth watching for the big name stars within.

For the first 30 minutes I was sure that I was watching an extremely bad movie. It's about at that point that things pick up and you begin to realize that the people involved in this are going for something, but you can't figure out just what it is. And you never do. As bad as this was, I may end up watching it again at some point with a couple friends to see how it holds up. It's almost like the writers sat around a room and tried to come up with things that would piss TCM fans off on purpose.
