Yup, ranking it over Wolf of Wall Street. Pretty easily. The rom-com that is not really a rom com, at all, thankfully. Paltrow grates, as usual. Ruffalo is charasmatic and charming, as usual. I'd be willing to bet that nearly everyone who has seen this all had the same collective, "Waitasecond...is that Pink?!?" reaction when she makes her first appearance in the corner of a crowded group meeting shot. She's fine. Josh Gad on the other hand? Holy mackarel. Leave this one off the reel, buddy.

Essentially a fairly honest indie character drama masquerading as traditional rom-com 2 appeal to a wider audience, this works well for most of the first 2 acts & suggests the writers could actually craft something better & funnier than all the dreck that followed When Harry Met Sally. Despite some great performances & a script unafraid to follow characters down fairly dark avenues however, the 3rd act feels way 2 contrived, as if the creators were fulfilling a mandate to have things fall apart

Thanks for Sharing is a serviceable dramemy that takes a glimpse (albeit a shallow one) into the lives of 3 sex addicts. Robbins, the stoic mentor still facing challenges; Ruffalo, the guy who has everything together; and Gad, the lovable rogue who can't help himself. They all do a good job portraying their characters, but the arcs told through the grandfather-father-son dynamic feel formulaic. The ending wraps things, but underscores the lacklustre plot. Pink is a surprisingly decent actress.

Part thoughtful adult drama, part screwball comedy; the two halves never really gel, despite a solid cast doing their darnedest. It's mostly a thoroughly enjoyable watch, regardless, with some great moments both light and dark; the melodramatic conclusion is a misjudgment, though.

Interesting look in to the misconceptions and hardships of this addiction. The actors are all fairly doing a decent job. Ok, so that's all I got. The story isn't good, the script is weak, they couldn't decide whether to go for hard hitting or comedy. They have 3 different stories that intersect, but all are dull and fall flat. Potential is there, but terribly executed.

Except for seeing how many social causes they could cram mention of into the script, it was a good story. I'm sure the addiction they focus on exists, the question is if it's as prevalent as they suggest.

I definitely wouldnt share this movie with anyone! How the creators of the film manage to trick this all star cast into starring in this film is a secret they need to share. The script is so dull, it never really takes you on any journey except to intense boredom. The performances are really good and the subject of addiction is sensitively handled but I think there is a more entertaining story to be told and this is far from it!

An able cast, not particularly inspired by the thin script and lackluster direction. It could have been daring--as it should be, given the subject matter--but settles for something between creepy and quirky. Ruffalo is good, but not as good as he can be. Paltrow plays a character a lot like herself, and--surprise!--does not succeed in making her interesting or likable. Josh Gad and Pink are defintiely the best things about this film. Especially Pink.

Good flick. Much of it not particularly easy to watch, especially for the self-aware.

Many high profile actors, but the story is somewhat lack luster. It attempts to expose some of the hidden aspects of compulsion and sex addition. In the process it reveals that people really have a hard time changing. The performances were good, but the material is not pleasant and ultimately not very interesting nor all that engaging. Marginally worth watching, mostly due to the poor subject matter.

Not sure whether to call this touching or funny but it was a great movie either way. I guess the best thing to say is that its an excellent amalgamation of both sides.

I always find it difficult when a movie can't decide wether to be a drama or comedy. The three storylines never felt connected and the melodramatic ending was way off... *Okay
