A very mediocre movie with a rushed and unsatisfying ending.

Remake of Up Pops the Devil (1931) with Bob Hope & Shirley Ross taking the lead roles and a bunch of good character actors as their drunken friends. They didn't make many changes to the original movie version except throw in a couple of songs, and of course Hope has a much better comic timing then Norman Foster so this one is funnier, though not an essential 30s comedy.
