That Thing Called Tadhana

Finally a Filipino romance movie which makes my heart melt! Such a breath of fresh air compared to all those deliberately corny mainstream movies being made these days. All the focus on Angelica Panganiban's chubby and unglamorous face was a welcome image compared to the cute-as-a-doll actresses that flood the pinoy screen. Simple and down to earth focus on two people who by chance meet at a airport and spends a few days together. Perhaps not as deep as it could have been, but it's a warm story.
