One of Carter Wong's finest performances. Can't say the same for Polly Shang though.

Majority of the film takes place in a Shaolin temple, followed by a shorter vengeance part. The storytelling was quite confusing, and it was not a surprise to find out that I actually watched a Japanese recut version with integrated material from other Kuo films. It was still OK; I liked the training and test scenes at the temple which reminded me of the latter 36th Chambers of Shaolin - and of course the bronze fighters. I need to check the original cut as well, as I'm sure it is better.
