Enjoyable, though the satire of the novel feels watered down to the point of being childish. The editing is very choppy at points, with sudden narrative jumps giving an impression that this was a longer film at one stage. Unless you're a Harryhausen completionist, don't come here for the stop motion. His work here is minimal (in essence, a brief bout with a squirrel and another with a crocodile). Herrmann's score is generic, but there are some nice themes that poke out every now and again.

I've always loved Harryhausen's work and he did a good job in this one, the problem is that it's somewhat on the boring side, a bit too kid friendly, and simply poorly written. Pass it up, unless you're really in the mood for some 60's fantasy, but if you are, try to find something else first.

Entertaining movie version of the classic novel, Gulliver's Travels. Love the effects and very colorful.

Okay movie, that's still quiet enjoyable because Swift's satire about politics and society still hold up nowadays, and this a pretty faithful adaptions from the first two journeys. The lead is pretty dull and the pacing is off at times. Harryhausen effects in this are mostly about the overlapping of screens to make people look smaller or bigger that Gulliver, it features only two minor stopmotion moments.

Surprisingly faithful to Swift, with some terrific work by Harryhausen. Loved Lemuel vs. the crocodile!
