The 355

Better than half of generic gun-heavy action flicks with male leads. I wish female-led action films weren't so combat-centric but instead focused on other strengths (c'mon, even the best female fighter in the world would have a weight disadvantage, not to mention they could just get shot during fisticuffs). I liked the wardrobe but bonus points for Kruger's cocktail pantsuit and Nyong'o's indigo knit sweater. Predictable twists. Hopefully the sequel will drop tropes. Fav scene: Paris chase.

It's not good enough to pass but isn't absolutely terrible. Nyong'o and Chastain in particular deserve better material. There aren't any inspired action sequences or storytelling beats that try anything interesting. It just plods along like a typical spy thriller. I really had hoped for more from this.

Fox Force Five finally made it out of its pilot episode and adapted for the silver screen (Tarantino would be proud).

My girlfriend loves a good trashy movie, but halfway through this, she was dramatically spilling off her end of the couch onto the floor, shouting, "Kill me now, kill me now!"

This receives so much hate because it's an all-female film. I did enjoy the film tbh, much much better than what I had expected.

It's 2022. Your propaganda should be better than this.

Paint-by-numbers. No original thought or creativity. Lacks tension, lacks meaning, basic and boring action scenes...you get the picture. Basically, A big fat nothing - again.

It's a pity that they let the guy who directed Dark Phoenix direct this one. Nice premise, wonderful cast, nice locations, mediocre-to-bad movie. Pity...

not so good

While the talented cast of "The 355" elevates the material and makes the film watchable, the lackluster screenplay, uninspired action sequences, and pacing issues prevent it from being anything more than a forgettable and formulaic spy movie.

Really Bad! Yes, I am one of those that is tired of watching 5'7", 120lb women laying waste to men twice their size. But, this was more than that. This was just plain bad!

2022? Would also have been an embarrassment i 2002.
