Terrible plot, but Chan's amazing physical comedy and martial arts make it watchable. Worth it just for the naked fight scene in the marketplace, which is a masterpiece of choreography and comic timing.

I have seen so many Jackie Chan movies that I have no idea which one is which. I think I saw this in theaters though. Don't.

Script is horrible and not even acrobatic abilities of Jackie Chan can help this film. What really pisses me of that Jackie is jumping like crazy, risking his health, and film producers still used horribly looking CGI gunshots. Nothing to see here.

Just finished watching the dubbed version and man is it different from the HK uncut original version. The story has been changed and a lot of the dialogue has been altered. It's still a decent film but no where near as good as the original version of the film. 56/100 for dubbed 75/100 for the HK original

Another vacuum in which only Jackie Chan's physical charisma exists.

Entertainment: 5/4 -- my wife and I loved it... impressive FX and Jackie Chan action. Spirituality: 0/3. Sustainability: 0.5/3.

Watched this as it is another Jackie Chan movie. I totally respect this guy and most of his films are fun to watch. This time many action scenes are edited magnificently are not so believable as usually. The plot is also a weak one.

The dubbed version starts out light and fun, but suddenly seems to turn into a different film, and it's hard to settle with it as it is a bit disjointed. The Jackie Chan stunts, fights, and creative use of the environment were quality though, but didn't fully save the movie.

Pre-Weinstein version: Starts as a fun and frothy display of Jackie Chan’s acrobatic skills (it’s great fun to see him spruiking exercise equipment) and there are some expectedly terrific set pieces here, especially the naked fight in the market. Unfortunately forgets all about the fun at the mid-point, bogging down in an overly serious (and convoluted) Bond-like spy plot, before revving up for an exciting finale (though still doesn’t quite take best advantage of its star’s skills).
