A 12 episode serial starring Rex, the King of the Wild Horses and Rin-Tin-Tin, Jr. Rex is brought from the island of Sujan, where he is worshiped as a God-Horse, to the U.S. to be trained as a polo pony. He escapes, meets Rinty and with the help of Frank Bradley is returned to Sujan. The natives have been persuaded to turn against their God-Horse, however he is rescued just in time before he is burned as a sacrifice. (imdb)

This is an oddball Mascot serial, starring a horse and a dog. Kane Richmond is OK, as usual, and Mischa Auer is a hoot, as the ruler of Sujan. Might've rated this lower, except I love strange chapterplays like this'n.

Rex & Rin Tin Tin Jr. join forces again after starring together in the 1934 serial "The Law of the Wild". But again I struggle to care much at all about this. Neither animal is that breath taking on screen and since they don't have much personality, the serial doesn't have much personality. The one that did bring some personality was Mischa Auer as a oriental, but that was a small joy in a otherwise very tame production. Not even the cliffhanger endings was any exciting. A waste.
