Fine, I'll be the odd man out. This is a fast-paced, intelligent little noir thriller. Ulmer solved the pacing problems that brought down a lot of his 40s and 50s work, and included some of his meanest characters outside of Detour. The sudden and organic switch to POV when Faust goes invisible is '30s Universal as hell. I might be overrating it, but all y'all are underrating it.

A mixture of film Noir and the Invisible man but not as good as it sounds. Every character in this is unlikable and the characters act inconsistent which was kind of annoying. The movie is short and runs at a quick pace so it never gets boring.

I really didn't mind this movie so much. Sure it was one of those 50's drive in kind of movies, that had cheesy lines and effects. I even liked the characters and how they were put together and how it seemed to me anyway, was that the bank robber would have some redemption towards the end. Or maybe I fell asleep and I dreamed the whole thing. It was kind of boring and not a whole lot of suspense, but I think Uwe Boll's and Uli Lommell's movies are much worse than this.

Shot in Texas, this cheapjack ripoff of _The Invisible Man_ has to be one of the darkest, most depressing films ever made. Everything about the paltry production is the pits, from the awful FX (the "invisible" Kennedy is obviously shouting his lines at the other actors while just out of camera range) to the hammy acting and pompous dialogue. Ed Wood must have loved it.

A fun little film that manages to perfectly blend classic noir and drive-in sci fi. Is it a great film? No. But it's good for a Saturday morning. And anybody saying the effects are bad are insane. The way Faust turns invisible is cool as hell.

Noir-ish sci-fi flick that doesn't do either very well. The protagonist being such an unrepentant asshole is interesting at first, then quickly becomes dull.

A fun little B-movie noir. honestly well shot in places. It's fun but if it didn't have the whole transparent thing it would just be another run of the mill noir(like lots of Ulmer's early career)

A very boring and overlong movie with president Nixon as the main character (without the dog cheeks). The effects aren't that bad, but they're very cheesy as the rest of the film. Should've watched the MST3K version, but couldn't because of a movie box with shitty movies.. Well.. 40 more to go..!

Essentially a one-act play about a criminal forced to sign up for a weird experiment involving nuclear radiation and invisibility. Not very good, obviously, and would have benefitted from being cut down by 20 minutes (it's just over an hour long), but Douglas Kennedy does a good job with the lead role and it deserves props for not just being an Invisible Man ripoff.
