The Angry Birds Movie 2

Yeah that's right. I liked it. It's actually very funny. A new director and new writers makes all the difference sometimes. The animation is all clean and well done, as is all of the voice acting (Bill Hader being a highlight). It won't win any writing awards, but it's a pretty fun time! Definitely worth watching if you found any amusement in the first one.

Enjoyed myself more than I thought I would. Compared to the first one, It's definitely and all around better movie. Some of the jokes flew over my head though...

This one was on par with the 1st movie really. It had some genuinely funny parts and it was overall not completely stupid, which is all that you can hope for. my favorite parts were the little tiny baby birds trying to save their sisters to increasingly absurd consequence. had me rolling.

I fell asleep in the middle so you should probably ignore this.

Cheerful and bouncy animation is pitched squarely at a young audience but has enough genially amusing pop culture riffs (and even some honest heart) to be appealing enough to a wider audience - while its placid and laid back attitude makes it difficult to dislike, it's still not especially memorable especially when compared to more sophisticated fare.

The animation quality and characters, I think, were top notch. The story I did not like at all. Well, it was better than the first one but still.

It's basically more of the same as the first one, but not as good. I can't explain why but I think maybe they upped the slapstick stuff or it seemed more "kiddy" to me this time around. To be fair, the kids themselves were having a real blast with this and I did get a few laughs out of it myself. It's wacky, colourful, and doesn't take itself seriously at all. There was a subplot that basically contributed to nothing which slightly annoyed me. Overall, not too bad by Video Game Movie standards.

Quite formulaic. The first half is as unfunny as it gets, but it gets much better starting from the scene where the team breaks into the icy island.

I liked the first one, so I thought this would be good too. I know that rarely happens, but it does, sometimes. Not this time, but sometimes. This wasn't fresh, or new, or entertaining. More like a film school student used everything they learned in the last semester and followed a formula to write it.

Maybe kids will like this. Maybe they won't. Maybe someone found this funny. Maybe they didn't. It just missed. Something's are better left as concepts or they were originally intended. Not everything needs the film treatment. Yet my kid loves it so it served the purpose which is the point of it all right? Sell to the kids so they make money off of adults who have no choice but to repeatedly watch these productions that suffer in quality because of it.

It's a Angry Birds movie. Shut off your brain and enjoy the stupidity. There was a lot of it!

While I think this film is mostly "okay", it misses the mark on what the first film did so well, which was use a lot of great sarcastic humor that works for both kids and adults. Lots of subtle (and not-so-subtle) adult humor in the first while this one mostly just feels kid-friendly...and because of that, I'm sure it's much more forgettable for everybody.

I only like the pig that reminds me of life.(my dad)
