The Arizona Ranger (1948) was probable a special film for the Holt Family. Long-time screen tough guy Jack Holt appearing in his son Tim Holt's oater, as his father no less. Jack had been a leading man since the silent days, but his career has slowed down in the 40s. I'd like to think that this was a supporting role he wanted to take. The plot had all the typical ingredients, but wasn't all that exiting. However this one was more for Jack being as hard father you'd expect him to be.
