I thought this would be an intense flick about hunting Carlos, but instead it turned out to be a cheesy medium-low budget thriller with a ridiculous plot, cheesy dialog and amateur-looking action and explosions. See the 2010 film Carlos instead, there is no comparison.

Good for an espionage/spy/war movie. And the switch up scene was amazing.

If you are looking for a film about Carlos this is not it - this films plays fantasy history. But as a good yarn this is worthwhile - and seeing Kingsley play an Israeli this time is a bonus.

Surprisingly very entertaining movie. Good acting.

Nothing of note.

One of those 'hone your skills for the big mission' type plots, which are a guilty pleasure. His training is, lets face it, pretty stupid, but Sutherland and Kingsley add sufficient gravitas to overlook this. Well, somewhat at least. The real Carlos being a bumbling fool doesn't help with this films credibility. Good watching for when you're too tired to question and just allow yourself to get swept along.
