I hate you, Chris O'Donnell!

I just can't watch Chris O'Donnell. Charm isn't Acting.

Actually much better than I'd remembered. The movie is a little slow in parts, and the jokes sometimes interrupt the flow of the film, but other than that it is cute and entertaining. I think the script does a decent job of keeping Jimmie (O'Donnell) clear of what could be questionable choices. So, the film could have been better, but it could have been a lot worse. Overall, an enjoyable way to spend an hour and a half.

It's not as funny as similar movies, it's not as romantic as similar movies, and it's not as dramatic as similar movies. So it's just kind of there. A lot of the humor comes off as mean-spirited instead of funny. O'Donnell has a little charm here, and I like Lange, but... didn't mesh. O'Donnell needed someone to bounce off of and this could've used, y'know, real jokes.

I watch this kind of movies when I'm PMSing.

Not that good. The I do like the line by the old guy about the StarLight Room. "When they pop the DomPerignon, take out the ring and just mumble something". That was funny. The actual scene in the StarLight Room was brutal enough that I had to cover my eyes. I think I had heard so many bad reviews of this that it turned out being slightly better then I thought, which doesn't make it a good film. The lasso scenes were really stupid. Artie Lange was ok. Not as bad as Click.

Pretty much a turd. Not much here for jokes or to capture interest. The rivers of brides are a great idea, Rene is cute & a little dull, the general subject & treatment boring or offensive (to me. I don't care for movies about marriage that treat marriage this way).

Horrible, superficial trash.
