The Bamboo House of Dolls

The Japanese army invades a Chinese military hospital to kill an American pilot being treated there, and randomly decide to imprison all the sexy nurses in their concentration camp. There's a MacGuffin box of gold that really only serves to get in the way of all the group showers, catfights and torture. And since Shaw Brothers produced this baby, there's also a couple of kung fu fights and machete brawls to spice up the action. Nothing special, but there's lots of worse women-in-prison flicks.

WIP exploitation is a guilty pleasure of mine, and this one happens to have a nice style to it.

Really slogs in the middle sections when, for some reason, this trashy women's prison flick actually attempts some in-depth plot elements. The rest is a blast if your mind is in the right place.

Overly long Women in Prison picture that has weird musical cues and seems to get bored with it's subject matter about halfway through and changes things up a bit.
