....I wonder how the 1933 audience reacted to this? Did they see the romantic side to this stalker/kidnapper? Or were they as baffled as I felt when "The End" faded in on the screen? Women are crazy, we all know that, so it's plausible, right? Beautiful MGM production quality, fine performances by the actors and bla, bla bla.... and the stalker prevails! The magic of stalking just isn't appreciated enough in todays society.
