I actually laughed a couple of times, a record for a W.C. Fields film. While still pretty dry and full of dead time, at least the jokes aren't all as strained and repetitive as they usually are in Fields' films and the ending was good.

There are a few funny bit in here but it wasn't as funny as his other stuff I've seen.

I know the droll muttering under his breath is part of his shtick, but combined with a muffled soundtrack, it's pretty difficult to appreciate Fields' humor almost a century later.

Nah, except for the musical birth at the end there wasn't much here for me.....
