I'll admit, I kind of loved this movie. Sure it was cheesy and wasn't incredibly deep but it was fun. I loved the huge gun battles. I loved the brother who can't speak but does know how to hand out a beat-down. I love that even though they are a group of red-neck gun-toting crazy people, they are compassionate and caring for the young boy in the wheelchair they save from Billy Bob Thornton's clutches. I really loved the cast of bad guys sent to stop the three brothers, very colorful and funny.

Junky, low-rent, and nonsensical. Remember THINGS TO DO IN DENVER WHEN YOU'RE DEAD, which was like B-level Tarantino without the imagination, iconography, and directorial assurance? This is like B-level THINGS TO DO IN DENVER WHEN YOU'RE DEAD. Ditch it.

Another movie I liked more than I thought I would. Billy Bob is his usual awesomeness. Good mindless gun, bloodiness action scenes. I could not predict out the entire movie plot line, which is always a plus. The crazy characters were enjoyable to watch. There was no black or white is this movie. Almost everyone was some shade of gray.

It sure isn't a great film, but entertaining still. If you're a fan of grindhouse-like films it's worth checking out. Oh, and the boys in this film drive a pretty sweet dodge!

I have a feeling this will get missed by the majority which is shame. Some scenes feel like they should be in a different film all together but the main cast keep it on track. Billy Bob is as good as ever.

When it's time to stitch up a knife wound they reference Rambo. When they're actually stitching and he shows no pain they chant, "Drago, Drago, Drago." So yeah, I liked it.

What I learned from this movie: it's okay to make white-as-klan-toilet-paper rednecks the heroes of your movie, as long as they were raised by an African American sheriff. Throw in helping out a hot single mother of Latino descent, being nice to a boy with muscular dystrophy, and serving your 3 to 5 years for crimes committed, and you have equal-opportunity southern-fried hicksploiation fun for the whole goddamn family. Yee haw.

A lot of the movie is certainly written with camp in mind, but the direction keeps it far from just a parody of either higher budget action movies or older, low budget cult films. Baytown Outlaws comes out as its own beast, and a glorious beast at that.

This film has a bad script that is full of outrageous characters. A lot of the characters motivations are unknown and never explained. There are a number of actors in this film that have been in better films. Overall I would say skip this movie.

This starts off good, gets better, but gets pretty unbelievable with biker hit women, Road Warriors & Indian mercenaries scalping & shooting arrows. Black comedy. Eva Longoria was mostly wasted. I liked the performances of Clayne Crawford & Travis Fimmel. As usual, Michael Rapaport stunk it up. Billy Bob Thornton was OK. Good music. Well produced. Lots of nonsense, but worth watching & mostly entertaining. This motley crew of misfits grows on you. I'm looking forward to their next installmemt
