The Best Man

I am not a racist.

It's good to see someone finally make a better black movie. The beginning is awkward, & the ending drags a little, the character conflicts are, however, quite engaging. I will never be crazy about movies that rely heavily on the construct of marriage.

A solid ensemble cast make the most of an often-fun screenplay, but it's a little too long, and stylistically, it hasn't aged spectacularly well.
