The Big Punch

Wayne Morris got his big breakthrough in boxing movies, but after being gone a long time fighting in the war, he hadn't found his place back in the Hollywood hierarchy, so he returns to the formula that made him a star in the first place. Sort of. This is a boxer plot with a twist. He's a FORMER boxer turned minister. It's all a bit dozy and preachy. He does a fine job with the acting, though. It's just that very few others step-up and it's all a bit sleep-inducing.
