It's never a good sign when a 60 minute Western feels slow. Dull and pretty forgettable.

A very typical western of it's time. An hour of simple entertainment and a touch of love for the hero. And in this case for John Wayne. Noah Beery is the bad guy, and I'm sure they could have gotten more out of such an established heavy had they tried to. But the focus was on making the hero the hero rather then the bad guy the super heel.
