Average. This reminds one of classics like Fargo and A Simple Plan, but where they ventured into new territory, this just stumbles in imitation. Its not that bad, some big names here, good performances, notably Holly Hunter's high strung turn. Good time waster. Rent it if there's not much else.

A tonal mish-mash of a film with pretensions of Coen-ism. With a soundtrack that relies too heavily on the Eels, The Big White simply thinks it's much funnier than it actually is.
