A good episode of Bob's Burgers with shading.

Honestly, the biggest problem with this movie is just that the show is too good. As such, it's really hard for the movie to sufficiently up the ante to provide a proper cinematic experience. It's still good - both funny and heartwarming in equal measure - but it could have maybe been a three-part story arc in the show.

Despite being a retread of some very old episodes, I thought this managed to stay realistic within the context of the show while making the stakes feel more cinematic. Yes, we’ve seen the restaurant in financial trouble, we’ve seen Tina pine for Jimmy Jr, we’ve seen Louise question herself… but everything felt raised and tied together. I actually would’ve preferred a few more musical numbers, but otherwise the rubbery animation gave us a chance to see these characters in finer detail. Cute!

I don't actively watch this show, but I have seen a fair amount of it and I like it. If you like this show, it's extremely unlikely that you wouldn't like this movies. It's very much like 3 or 4 episodes strung together into a big story arc. It's a bit slow to start, but by the time it hit a big musical number by a bunch of carnies, I was sold.

It’s a really long Bob’s Burgers episode with even more songs. Do you like Bob’s Burgers? You’ll probably like this movie! Have you never seen Bob’s Burgers? It’s like the most consistent animated show ever and it’s all like this movie so if you like it you have like 250 episodes to watch!

I like how I haven’t watched the show in like 8 years and everything remains the same. Surprised how much I laughed. It’s nothing new but under the sun nothin is

It's a long episode with better animation AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.

If you're a fan of the show like me you should enjoy this. The humor is still great as ever, and the musical moments are very much on point. IMO It veers a little too much into family/adventure movie in places and would have been better as a pure comedy/musical. The plot has them focus heavily on the Fischoeders at the expense of other side characters. But overall I enjoyed it. It still has a lot of the charming unique style that makes the show so lovable.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie is essentially a long episode of the long-running television series. That makes it, as fans of the long-running animated sitcom would already suspect, a delightful way to spend 102 minutes. And for those unfamiliar with the show, it’s as good of a jumping-on point as any of its 238 episodes.

I was never a fan of Bob's Burgers but this movie is at least watchable and its general deadpan energy did give me a few chuckles. Surprisingly amusing villain too. But like the show, I just find the comedy too tepid and lacking any real bite to elevate it beyond a generic crowd pleaser at best.

For someone who has never seen a single episode of Bob’s Burgers as of writing this, I found this easy to get into and fairly funny in places. The Musical sequences I didn’t expect at all were surprisingly decent. Yeah the plot is very simple and straightforward, but the animation looks good like the pier and action sequences. I’m going to check the series out now.

(Rewatch: same) I love the show, so while this wasn't a letdown, it wasn't any more impressive than other cliffhanger 2-parter episodes they have done in the past (and it's not even the first one involving a murder plot at the pier). The cinematic shadows were jarring at first. Maybe my opinion will change with a 2nd viewing, but I wish they took a bigger swing for the fences and maybe even made this not a standalone event that show viewers can skip. Fav scene: Louise finding the corpse.

I don’t think I’ve watched an episode since season 3 or so. Works surprisingly well. Yeah, it’s basically just an extended episode, but what I liked about BB, when I watched it, was it was just consistently good.

I used to watch every episode of Bob’s Burgers, but fell off at some point and now am 100+ episodes behind (same with many other adult animated sitcoms). However, this movie was fun! Mystery was just good enough to be passable, lots of funny lines, catchy songs, a little extra pop in the animation. Was disappointed they didn’t show Louise without her hat at the end though, it seemed like what the movie was obviously building up to thematically (ala Kenny’s face at the end of South Park BL&U).

As others have said, it feels like a longer episode of the show with higher budget and more spectacle, and there's nothing wrong with that. I feel like it did manage to achieve a higher level of emotion at the very climax.

I think what really hampers this is that 4 of the 5 main characters are all struggling with some variation of anxiety. This makes the beats feel samey and the angst never really translates to the same hilarity the show achieves in its shorter run time. (Has been a long time since I watched the show, but I feel like each episode only focused on at most 2 neurotic characters at a time.) There are still laughs, though.

Bob Burger ailesinin filmi. Espriler iyi. Ama neticeye gelene kadar fenalık. 1 ara uykum geldi. Filmin sonunda, lunaparkı kurtarmaca. Böyle disko olmaz olsun.

Lettuce talk about this movie. I certainly have no beef with it; it's buns of fun and it was so nice to ketchup with all the great characters as they Bobbed and weaved through the madcap musical mystery plot filled with giant sinkholes worth of humour, enjoyable songs (Grover's went on way too long though), some surprisingly suspenseful action (see the trapped car), and engaging arcs for the kooky kids (Louise's in particular tugged on my heartstrings like two hanging from a pink bunny hat).

Basically a feature-length episode, as those things usually are. I wasn't floored. I'd like to say it's just not quite as funny as the initial seasons of the show, which I really liked, and I hope that's the case - or otherwise I simply outgrew this.

“The Bob’s Burgers Movie” is a hilarious and heartwarming addition to the beloved TV show. While it may not be an essential watch for those who haven’t seen the show, it’s a must-see for fans. The film’s dedication to the show’s formula and humor make it a riotously funny time, and the maintaining of the essential bond between the Belcher family members is a testament to the show’s enduring appeal.

I like the series a lot, but found this rather stretched and overwrought. Has its moments.
