This version of 1920's humor didn't hold up for me.

The Boob exists today because it features a young almost unrecognizable Joan Crawford before she was a star. She's barely in this. Instead it's 1920s regular Gertrude Olmstead that has the female lead, while most of this is rural slapstick. It's really a Charles Murray film as an local idiot who dresses up as a cowboy and scares off the bootleggers in town. And how fun it is really depends on how stupid you want your comedy. There are some moments, but for me it was only a lukewarm farm comedy.
