A powerful combination of musical, theatrical, cinematic means that absorb and take you to a mixed feeling of sexuality, excitement, but in the same time pain and full madness. All the 119 minutes I felt like a man but in the same time like a woman and this film left me a feeling of understanding both fucked and suffering genders at the same time while not understanding at all. I can even hardly speak of it.

Abduction, psychological torture, rape, post trauma, utter isolation. Inexplicable to me why this is described as erotic mystery. Felt it said more about masculinity as a construct and perceived identity, watching it all fall apart.
