Milo (Gerard Butler) is a bounty hunter whose latest gig is a doozy, as he finds out too late that the bail-skipper he must chase down is his own ex-wife, Nicole (Jennifer Aniston), and she has no intention of coming in without a fight. Complicating matters, Nicloe's wannabe-boyfriend joins the chase in this high-octane comedy from director Andy Tennant.

What an awful awful movie. Seriously... awful! The script is lousy and completely predictable. The ''plot'' is all over the place, the direction appalling. And the acting... complete and utter shit! I mean I always knew that J. Aniston and G. Butler aren't the greatest actors in the world but after seeing this I am inclined to think they are the worst. Do not watch this!!!

The Bounty Hunter has basically no reason to have been made, especially because of how it was promoted. It isn't really a film about a man capturing his ex-wife and the problems occurring during that, but is instead about a possible murder that one of the characters wants to solve. It's not funny, it's way too long, and its script is weak. I felt like I wasted my time coming away from watching it, and that's just about the worst feeling you can get after watching a movie. Do not watch this movie

Not as horrifyingly bad as people make it out to be, but still pretty bland nonetheless. This movie is pretty much the reason why no-one takes "rom-com" seriously as a genre.

Very mediocre. The main characters are more or less appealing but there's nothing to connect with. No real story, nothing.

Only redeeming feature of this film is the always good-looking Aniston, but since there's an embarrassing lack of her in a state of semi-undress (or total undress, now _then_ we could talk about a higher score), there isn't much to see here. In fact, there is nothing to see here. Avoid.

I only remember laughing once : The scene where Gerard Butler is wearing the colorfull shirt. For the rest this really is a film for 14-year old girls and boys.

OK, pretty cool premise. Guy tracking down his ex for her bail-bounty. How righteous is that. But then they turn over the idea to some writers who come up with a few good mini clips for the trailer. End of story. Some really silly stuff.

Milo Boyd (Gerard Butler), a down-on-his-luck bounty hunter, thinks he's seeing an upswing in fortune when he gets a call to bring in his bail-jumping ex-wife, a reporter named Nicole (Jennifer Aniston). Milo considers the job an easy payday, but Nicole quickly escapes to chase a lead on a murder case. The former spouses play an escalating game of one-upmanship, until they suddenly find themselves on the run for their lives.

It felt a lot longer than it was, these two didn't have any chemistry and the script tried too hard. Yet, it's not quite as bad as people seem to be saying and it certainly isn't as bad as my PSI indicated (1? Really?). There are better rom-coms, and some of them are even this year. Go watch Going the Distance.

A pretty generic RomCom. I've seen Gerard Butler be a lot more funny in other movies like the Ugly Truth and I've seen Aniston be a lot better in other movies too like Horrible Bosses and Just Go With It. I think the writing really dragged this movie down. It even had a pretty decent romantic comedy director who did the hit movie Hitch. So, I was disappointed. It had a few laughs but just too few to call this a good flick. Oh well, time to move on to something better.

It's surprising to see that this movie commands such a universal hatred from people. I'm not saying it's good, it's simply not AS bad as people say it is. It is not boring, not horribly written, and has no cringe-worthy acting. The bottom line is: don't watch it, but don't avoid it like the bubonic plague.

Owww, my eyes... They didn't have to watch it, just occasional glimpses, but my ears heard much more. The only thing I was thankful for was that my ears don't have eyes, so at least they couldn't be additionally tortured by the horrors that cannot be unseen.

Gerard Butler is fun to watch, and Jennifer Aniston is hot, but this movie otherwise sucks. A shitty premise, and shitty plot, shitty screenwriting, shitty directing, shitty casting choices... Just a shitty film. I'm embarrassed to say I watched it on purpose because it came on HBO early one morning while I was sick.

It's solidly mediocre, but it's certainly not the worst thing in the world. They are never really believable as a couple, which seems like it should have been easy to make it believable with these two leads.

The acting is terrible. The story is obvious. I found myself staring at the wall and daydreaming during large portions of this movie. Really has no redeeming factors (they couldn't even give Jason Sudeikis anything funny to say and he's a funny dude).

Slightly entertaining at first to watch the two, but it gets quite boring after the first half hour and is consistently boring until the end. The only reason I could endure this was because I like Butler and I like Aniston more.

If "Midnight Run" and "His Girl Friday" had an unwanted, mutant baby, it would be The Bounty Hunter, a romantic comedy where the jokes sputter and die immediately after exiting the character's mouths.

Laboriously contrived rom-com action thriller, laboriously directed by Andy Tennant, wherein a pair of hostile exes, he a skip-tracer and she a bail-jumper, re-bond while solving a murder and dodging a hit man en route to the hoosegow. Not a good showcase for the assets of Jennifer Aniston, apart from her well-roasted exterior: Jennifer Taniston. Gerard Butler endeavors to match that with his beard stubble.

Romantic comedy about a bounty hunter who is assigned to track down his bail-jumping ex-wife. Just whose idea of fun is it to watch two ex-spouses verbally slam each other? ...a listless rom-com, a feeble thriller and a supporting cast of clueless characters.

About half as good as Mr. and Mrs. Smith. If you really loved Mr. and Mrs. Smith (Like me). You'll probably like this film. Honestly though, it wasn't all that well edited, had quite a few slow portions and quite a few elements that looked college student quality.
