It's amazing this movie made $10 million in 1997 as the highest grossing movie in Quebec, and warranted 3 more sequels being made. How that happened I don't know. Setting aside the jokes that didn't age well at all, there is not much of a plot going on, no impressive soundtrack/cinematography, and we didn't even know it was meant to be a comedy until after (feels like a drama). I guess I didn't completely hate watching it. This movie purely exists as a stereotypical time capsule of QC life.
