The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down

More like a documentary on how to score cocaine and be a hipster.

Modestly amusing oft satirical guide to scoring drugs and, well, just plain scoring. Should probably be shown in high school just before requiem for a dream.

Constant narration over the top gets tedious. It is trite and corny throughout. The insane use of the Jedi mind trick was stupendously ridiculous. Most of the gags fall flat. The acting is unnatural. The writers are not nearly as clever as they think they are. Too much cocaine related material. A few cute girls mixed in, but they don't get enough screen time. The scientific sections are really awful. Not good, but perhaps just bad enough to make fun of while drinking at a party?

Pretty much what you'd expect. Not really clever or anything, but funny enough. Also probably more fun for people who know the LA scene
