If everyone in high government office saw The Boys of Baraka, who knows what kind of positive change it might inspire? Contained interesting aspects. Moved too quickly, and was a little too superficial in the way it treated the program. Suffers because it submits to the tyranny of the 52-minute format: two years of material cannot be squeezed into this short an interval without loss. Better documentaries on teaching: THE AFGHAN ALPHABET and TO BE AND TO HAVE.
