Bafflingly awful film that fabricates most of Keaton's life. This wouldn't be so bad if the movie did this for a reason, even if just to make a point about something for god sake. Lousy recreations of Keaton's stunts are only matched by the fact that everything in the 1920s looks remarkably like the 1950s. Also, you have to admire the transition: Vaudeville dies, he does silent movies. Silent movies die, he does talkies. Quits talkies, goes back to vaudeville. ... wait, what?!
