One of Martin-Lewis' better films. Good tunes, ok gags.

Martin and Lewis preform their nightclub acts with the movie and it's plot an after thought. Hope/Crosby road pictures are much better.

Dean and Jerry were hitting their stride at this point. Dean's even developed his comedic chops, joining in the laughs rather just being a straight man. This one's got the famous "That's Amore" number, plus "The Gay Continental", a breezy, easy-going plot, and Donna Reed looking radiant. The ending is awfully hammy and schticky, though.

This is a good flick. This character dynamic works well for these two. They sing "That's Amore" with Dean's family. Jerry gets a funny solo musical number "The Gay Continental".
