This brisk little thriller is a textbook example of a giallo: Perche Quelle Strane Gocce Di Sangue Sul Corpo Di Jennifer? doesn't make a lot of sense but it keeps the viewer guessing throughout and packs plenty of wild visual excess into its running time... (All Movie Guide)

Enjoyed this. It was a bit daft in parts, and occasionally didn't make much sense, but successfully combined many of the elements that make the giallo genre so appealing. This one was perhaps more difficult to take seriously than some I've seen recently, but it definitely had plenty of charm outside of the frequent nudity; I think a lot of this was down to the interesting cast. Not particularly tense, or shocking, but worth a watch.

beautiful women getting killed, Edwige Fenech trying very hard not to be killed, and pretty much every single character becomes a red herring and while the reveal might not be hard to deduce, the sheer number of possibilities threw me off (my money was on a totally unrelated side character, I might have guessed if not for fixating on this person). worth checking out - a giallo with a good mystery, a good pace, and a wicked sense of humor

Slightly weaker on a re-watch. It's a solid Giallo, but taking into account the players (stars Fenech & Hilton, writer Gastaldi and producer Martino), it's a more generic effort than their better films - especially with director Sergio Martino. This one was done by Giuliano Carnimeo who's a competent director and there are some nice scenes, but nothing to challenge for example "Strange Case of Mrs. Wardh". Watched separately, it's still fun - and contains a lot of eye candy for Fenech fans.

For the most part, this is a subpar Giallo. The music didn't work for me nor did the lame-ass humor. But there were a few really good scenes sprinkled throughout that kept my rating slightly above average.

I like this flick a lot even though it seems to have elements of other, better George Hilton and Edwige Fenech movies.

Released in the states as What Are Those Strange Drops of Blood Doing on Jennifer's Body? which certainly takes after the length of some of the better giallo film titles but is ultimately pretty stupid, both as a title and as a practical question. It gets fun in the UK though as the premier title, Erotic Blue was eventually lengthened in true giallo fashion to Shockingly True?... Erotic Blue. And like that, we've gone from Edwige Fenech to Breakin'
