The Cat of the Worm's Green Realm
In late 1996 and 1997, Brakhage's work evidenced a partial return to photographic aesthetics, with Commingled Containers (volume one) and The Cat of the Worm's Green Realm, as well as the ecstatic paean to earthly existence, with intimations, perhaps, of immortality, that is Yggdrasill: Whose Roots Are Stars in the Human Mind (Criterion)

You know, in my head it's always "Bruh-caahj" even though I know it's "Brack-ij". If I ever have to actually talk out loud about him, I better make sure I pronounce his name right. I kept zoning out during this one. I like cats, I wanted more of the cat. Haha, I'm such a moron. Well, I suppose this is a pretty good representation of a worm's eye view of the world, but it didn't do a whole lot for me.
