The Child Remains

This movie had the potential to be really great, but it's sucked from the very start. And what the HELL was that ending?!

Perili ev hikayesi. Kimsesiz kadınların, bebeklerini öldüren 1 dini malikanede geçen olayları anlatıyor. 1 gazeteci kadın ve eşi, olayları çözmeye çalışıyorlar. Tabii ruhlar da yardım ediyor. Değişik 1 öyküye sahip. Ama çok basit çekilmiş. Ortam klişe. Korkmaktan çok, normal 1 film gibi. Gereksiz uzatılmış. Filmin sonunda. kötü kadın sapık çıkıyor. Ondan sonra devenin nalı. Bir tatile gidelim dedik. Emdiğimiz süt burnumuzdan geldi.

Uh. Wow. Boy. You know I really love supporting the arts in my home province (shout-out to those in the Nova Scotia film industry), so I paid to see this. Buuuuut, if I'm being honest, this is not a good movie. Not offensively bad, so it stays out of the pantheons of the worst of the genre, but there's just so little that's remarkable about it; not the story, nor the performances or production design, outside of fleeting instances. In a genre plagued with mundanity, this changes exactly nothing.
