I thought this was quite good. Has a sort of "Hesse" quality to it that you just don't see everyday. And I thought that Anthony Hopkins was incredibly good.

A lot of beauty here, especially Laura Linney--I will happily watch her do just about anything. The dialogue, though... often rather stilted, it kept feeling like a hyper-literate play that was poorly adapted for the screen. Still, quite worthwhile.
