Impressively hypnotic experiment that seems to draw attention to our collective familiarity not just with particular movies and actors but with specific kinds of shots and scenes, and the way we quasi-automatically interpret the cuts between them as sutures holding together a narrative about individuals moving through time, space and events according to rhythms whose ritual foundations are now largely those of cinema itself (in a broad sense: from cave painting to smartphones).
